CCBA is the most advanced IIBA certification and in order to gain the same, the applicants are required to fulfill the following criteria:

·         The applicant must have successfully acquired at least 3750 hours of professional working in the field of business analysis over the past 7 years. 900 each in either 2 or 500 hours each in either 4 of the BABok knowledge guide areas must be completed within these 3750 hours.

·         The applicant also must hold 21 hours of professional development gained over the past 4 years.

·         The applicants are also required to sign off the code of conduct and agree to all the terms and conditions.

The alternate to the IIBA institute in the field of project management is the PMI, which is responsible for regulating some of the most reputed certifications, including the CAPM and the PMP Certification.
